School 'Educational Visits'

Our very first 'educational school visit', in our new classroom, was a great success yesterday! Over 50 children from Cardiff visited the park and learned about the seasons and what we, as farmers, do throughout the year. Four short films, showing us working on the farm in the Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter were supported by practical examples of food and farming products. After lunch everyone went outside to see the 'in lamb' sheep, before having a sit, and their photo taken, in a big tractor! The children, who were a credit to the school, thoroughly enjoyed it, as did Gareth and myself!
